About us
Meet our group!
Dr. Cauê A. Martins received his B.S. degree (2008) in Chemistry, M.S. degree (2011) in Physical Chemistry and Ph.D. degree (2013) in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. He developed part of his graduate research at Universidade Nacional de La Plata in Argentine and at Biodesign Institute from Arizona State University in United States. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Simon Fraser University in Canada (2017-2018) working at the Fuel Cell Research Lab (FCReL) inside PowerTech Inc. He currently holds a faculty position at Federal University of Grande Dourados in Brazil as Adjunct Professor.
I have a degree in Chemistry (Bachelor's Degree and Bachelor's Degree - 2015), a Master's Degree in Chemistry - Physical Chemistry (2018) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry in progress, all from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD). He has been dedicated to the synthesis and characterization of carbon nanomaterials with an emphasis on crumpled graphene, exploring its promising application in electrochemical sensors. He has experience in glycerol electro-oxidation, electrolysers, metal nanoparticle synthesis, graphene synthesis and electrochemical instrumentation.
